London Burns, Is America Far Behind?

London burns, as riots continue and spread from the city beyond from what began as a peaceful protest against a police shooting of a man who may have shot at the police.  Kind of reminds a person of Detroit, doesn’t it?!

Of course now London has devolved into lawless arson, theft and vandalism.  Bystanders are robbed of their belongings and clothes, being left on the streets naked to find their way home.

How can this happen in the UK?  A country known to be so gentle that the police were famed for not needing a firearm.

This is not an isolated incident.  France recently suffered from riots because the government was going to raise the age of government guaranteed retirement, Greece was rioting because they are broke and have to use austerity measures to increase revenue to the government.

England’s riots aren’t the result of any one government action.  I summit these riots are the result of a population that is use to “cradle to grave” government involvement.  Most all the rioters in England are young.  These individuals have no sense of responsibility, mostly because the government has taken the consequences of actions away from the people.  The government has been taking care of these youths from birth on…college is mostly paid for (until recently when the government started making these juvenile delinquents pay a small portion of their education, to which they…rioted!  Big surprise!).  Once these individuals get through college and get a job, they are almost guaranteed the job until the person quits, and of course the UK has it’s wonderful NHS (National Healthcare System) which is “free” to all citizens, who want to wait until they die to get life saving tests.

Is it any surprise these rioters feel entitled to the items they steal?  After all they deserve it because it’s the rich that are keeping them down.  It’s the shop owner’s, those filthy rich mom and pop shop owner’s fault these rioters don’t have all they want.  If you look at the pictures you will find the “rich” are middle class people trying to make a living and support a family.

This isn’t to far from the driving force that brought about the Bolsheviks revolution of 1917.  Of course that brought the world Stalin and communism.  The riots in London are missing a strong leader that helped the Bolsheviks topple the Russian government of the time.  Because of England’s gun laws and weak police force, if such a leader existed that movement could not be stopped.

On the other side of the Atlantic, the US is brewing up a similar situation.  That is to say the government is creating a generation that is becoming dependant on the government for it’s existence.  This is the goal of the left and the Obama administration and they are steamrolling toward their goal.  Obama has given us Obamacare and has expanded unemployment insurance to cover a person for up to three years.  Since the downgrade of the US credit rating, Obama has used it to further his leftist agenda.  Obama has told us in order to get the American economy going again we must tax the rich (class warfare, just as was used in by the  Bolsheviks) and expand the unemployment insurance, thus keeping more Americans depend on the centralized government.

We can argue about the insanity of Obama’s “economic fixes”.  Obviously Barack’s ideas for fixing the economy are just ways to wastefully spend more money.   Insisting that expanding unemployment insurance helps the economy is the same as Pelosi claiming welfare is good, because it helps the economy.  This is not insanity coming from President Obama, instead it is a carefully choreographed plan.  Obama is going to socialize this country come hell or high water, and either would help his cause.

Obama and the left are well on their way to success: Nearly 49% of adults have been taken off the tax roles while a record number of households now receive food stamps.

Yes, success for Obama is just around the corner.  As the rioters burn London, Obama burns the soul of America.
